Join an Amazing Family
As a member of the EF High School Year family, you’ll benefit from our exclusive multi-tiered system of support. We offer individual training and guidance on both the local and national levels. No other exchange organisation works as hard to ensure your individual success, or offers the type of personalised service we offer!
Earn Rewards
Through EF High School Year’s special incentive program, you earn rewards for each exchange student you place with a host family. This means that while helping others you get something back!
Travel
As well as attending all expenses paid meetings in places such as London or Edinburgh, you may also qualify for incentive trips to destinations like Germany or Norway with other EF High School Year family members.
Get Reimbursed
EF High School Year offers reimbursements for necessary expenses as determined by the Hastings office. After all, our programme couldn’t exist without your hard work!
Use EF High School Year Resources
EF High School Year coordinators gain access to a wealth of host family recruiting tools such as flyers, posters, editorials and other material. There’s no need for you to worry when it comes to promoting the programme in your area. We’ve done the work for you!
Do it Together!
Many of our LCs are LC couples—husbands and wives who work as a team to bring exchange to their hometown. Being local coordinators is a great way for you and your spouse to spend time doing good together.

As a Local Coordinator, you’ll be a leader in your community. Even better, you’ll have the chance to really make a difference in the lives of exchange students, many of whom will go on to be leaders in their home countries.
Multiply Your Power to Change the World
As a host parent, you’ll change the world one student at a time. As an LC who gets to choose how many students as you'd like to mentor throughout the year, you’ll have the ability to make an even bigger impact. Of course, you can host and be an LC at the same time. Many people do!
